Pastors Forum Spring 2017

Spring Pastor’s Forum Features Leadership Expert
March 2017

The Resource Center for Pastoral Leadership at SNU held its Spring Pastor’s Forum recently on the Bethany, OK campus. A large crowd gathered on site to hear leadership expert and author, Dr. Hans Finzel, share some key principles from his iconic book, “The Top Ten Mistakes Leaders Make.”

Joining via live streaming were scores of pastors from across the South Central Region who gathered at dozens of satellite host sites and, as always, a number of participants beyond the Region viewed the Forum at their respective locations across the US.

Those who participated in this Lifelong Learning event were treated to a fast-paced and fact-packed morning of information, best practices and action steps to more effective leadership. Following the Forum, the feedback was enthusiastic and positive. Comments ranged from, “What a powerful class – I wish I had known this 40 years ago!” to, “Very helpful and just what we needed to be taught and reminded of.”

Hans Finzel is a trusted authority in the field of leadership, having trained leaders on five continents. For 20 years he led international non-profit, WorldVenture, serving in over 65 countries. Hans has written nine books including the best-seller featured at the Forum, as well as his newest release, The Power of Passion in Leadership.

Today he serves as President of HDLeaders, and is chief leadership guru on “The Leadership Answer Man” podcast. You can learn more about Hans and access his resources at hansfinzel.com.
